In the very center of the campus of the Lodz University of Technology, surrounded by modern university facilities such as LabFactor or Alchemium, the most important sports facilities in Lodz such as Zatoka Sportu, the Bombonierka ice rink and MOSiR Sports Hall and in the vicinity of two historic parks – named after Prince Józef Poniatowski and named after bishop Michał Klepacz, the creation of PLATON APARTMENTS from MRT Philosophy sp. z o.o. / Real Development Group sp. z o. o. sp. k., a residential investment designed with i.a. about students and employees of the nearby University Business Park business center. 150 apartments with an area of 25-48 m2 have been designed on four floors. In order to improve the quality of the public space around the building and to stimulate or encourage the users of this space to spend time together, from the side of the woonerf designed by the city on Stefanowskiego Street, an intimate square was designed, and on the ground floor of the building, commercial premises – with a view to a service point, shop or cafe. The main idea behind the land development design was the desire to blur the border between the public and private zones, create an attractive place for meetings and spending free time, which is directly in line with the city's revitalization policy based, among others, on the reconstruction of streets into woonerfs, serving for walks, meetings, assemblies and trade, which significantly contributes to increasing the city's economic profits. The inner patio, in turn, is a semi-public space, rich in greenery and encouraging meetings and interactions between residents. Minimalist architecture was proposed, the facades of the building were emphasized by the rhythmic arrangement of windows and varied loggias, terraces and arcades.
